Actually it is available in the right-click menu of the Edit Witness
Sentence window and is appropriate there. It is not an appropriate
variable for a Principal and thus is not available of the regular Tag
Sentence window.

Of course, if one only edits Sentences from the Tag Type Definition screen,
then only the [WO] variable is available in the right-click menu even
though the [W] variable could be used for any Sentence not intended for a
Principal Role. I have suggested to the developers that the "Name of
Current Witness" variable be added to this right-click menu -- possibly
with a warning that it might not be appropriate for use in a Sentence for a
Principal.
