Here in Belgium and the Netherlands we accepted the proposal of the VVF
(Flemish Genealogical Association) and the NGV (Dutch Genealogical
Association):
° for Birth (this is a small circle usually after the numbers on a azerty
board)(or *)
= for Christening
+ for Death
°+ for stillbirth
x for marriage (or oo)
)( for divorce
(+) for Burial
