The point of the tab was to allow a text macro to be used for entry into
multiple fields such as the place fields on the Tag Entry screen. Enter
didn't work because typing 'Enter' from the keyboard closed the Tag Entry
screen.

As far as I can tell...
';' results in a TAB input when pasting into multiple fields (such as place
fields) on a Tag Entry screen.
';' results in a CR (newline) input when pasting into a memo field.
