My gt grandfather married twice. I imported to TMG from generations 8 where
the two wives are shown in the right order. There were marriage event tags with
places and dates for each marriage so import to TMG seems fine.
However on my Palm using GEDWISE (via TMG GEDCOM) the second marriage is now
shown as the first, and the first as the second.
I do not think this is simply a GEDWISE issue. A test reimport of the same
TMG gedcom into an empty Generations file shows the same reversal of the two
wives, with the second now coming first.
Any suggestions why this should be?
And by the way, Doug Gordon tells me that he writes his programme in his
spare time at home and has made no commitment to including TMG source memos on
GEDSTAR.
