Lee,
I might agree that sending an UNSUBSCRIBE message is the best solution,
however as I wrote you (and numerous Rootsweb list administrators this
morning) the new ISP (comcast.net) has ceased all e-mail being sent by the
former ISP (attbi.com). That change occurred between my departing for work
yesterday morning and my arrival home. Comcast is not allowing an overlap
period for sending e-mails, only receiving e-mails.
A test e-mail earlier this morning confirmed that Comcast is not permitting
any @attbi.com e-mail to be sent. TMG-L to which I was subscribed as
@attbi.com would not recognize the @comcast.net e-mail address. I felt it
would be much more courteous to send each list administrator an e-mail with
a brief explanation of the situation rather than resubscribe with the new
e-mail address (@comcast.net) and allow the old e-mail address (@attbi.com)
to begin bouncing messages in a couple of months.
Best,
Denise L. Moss-Fritch
