Ann,
Have you tried to REINDEX. Sometimes that will fix things like that.
Yes you can print a list of tasks attached to a repository.
LIST OF TASKS
Filtered Group
LINKED REPOSITORY ID # ?
I use that one all the time.

Subject: [TMG] Master repository List - Errors and Problems
Oh woe, my enthusiastic taking up of TMG again has already turned into
what appears to me to be a disaster.
I have spent many hours today entering repositories, their addresses,
memos, etc and so on. I already had quite a few repositories and around
250 tasks, many of which were attached to a repository.
I now have some big problems. I just don't have time right now to check
through every single repository but this is what I know so far:
First, I have one repository which I entered as ENG: Taunton Record
Office etc etc. It appears as that on the list of repositories (sorted
by Abbreviation) - repository no 97. However when I open it is has all
the details for the National Library of Australia, repository no 2. Over
and over I have Optimised, VFId, closed TMG, closed down my computer but
to no avail.
Second problem. Somehow all the tasks that are attached to repository no
1, the State Library of NSW, have also attached themselves to repository
no 2, the National Library of Australia. In the list of tasks the
persons and events are exactly the same. I have onlty had time to check
one incorrect task in repository 2. When I go to the relevant person
the one task now appears 3 times - once with basic event details etc etc
and twice listed as "Multiple Assisgnments". I definitely and
absolutely did not create the same task three times for the same event.
In fact I have a printout of all my tasks made just a few days ago and
it doesn't have the same task listed three times. When I look at those
tasks one is assigned to the State Library (as it should be), one to the
National Library (should not) and one is unassigned. I deleted the
National Library and unassigned ones and when I went back to repository
2 (National Library) the list of tasks attached to that repository had
reduced from 40 to 38 - yet only one of the deleted tasks was attached
to that repository!
Sources 1 and 2 have been in existence for months and I have not
renumbered any sources - no need to as every one of them has been
created in TMG.
So, I thought I'd try to click on a task in repository no 2 and change
the repository to the correct one, repository no 1, just to see what
happened. (And remembering that the task is already supposedly attached
to that repository anyway). I received a message
"Unknown number ROTMPOBJ 8FRMVIEWREPOSITORY.UNLOAD". I *think* but
cannot be sure that this message appeared before I ever got to the
master repository list via the binoculars.
I am not yet sure that all the duplicated tasks in repository 2 are from
repository 1 - the lists look different. I had a few tasks already
attached to repository 2 so that might explain the difference.
Now I am afraid do anything more at all with repositories and am worried
that all the work I have done so far is in a mess.
Is it possible to print out - or view on screen - a list of tasks
associated with each repository?
Can anyone suggest what I should do next please?
Regards
Ann Carson
