What happens if you move the cursor to the next field before
activating "search again"?

I've not tried it, but I suspect what is happening is that the
"search again" is starting from the beginning of the found field, and if
you haven't edited the field, it immediately matches again. Moving the
cursor to the next field may result in the search beginning from that point.

This may suffice as a work-around, though I would agree that the
search should begin from the end of the found item.
