I have always been uncomfortable modifying strings.dbf. In the beginning I played with it and recognized it to be a very powerful feature. Then an update came along and I had the choice of accepting the update and abandoning the modifications I had made or the other way around. Each new update presents the same dilema. My solutions has been to accept the defaults and ignore the possibilities offered by editing the language strings.
