When I switched to Windows XP, I had a great deal of trouble installing 4.0d.
Both Bob Velke and Barbara from TMG Tech were EXTREMELY helpful, and I
finally was able to install TMG 4.0d and have not had any problems since.

I originally had Windows 98 on my computer and installed XP over 98. NOT a
good idea! I finally reformatted my hard drive and bought a new complete
version of XP (not just the upgrade). XP worked fine once I did that.
