Jane,
Go to the person view of one of his children who appear twice. Do you see
John listed twice, once in the FATHER box and again in the tag list. If so,
then your problem is multiple relationship tags between John and his
children. First copy any citations you want to keep from one of the tags to
the other (the FATHER box is really the primary Father-xxx tag) then delete
the extra tag.

Hi all,

I have a gentleman named John McKinney who, for some reason has, in the
family view, duplicate tags listed for each child. They are exactly alike,
but two tags for each child. There is only one listing in the picklist for
each child. How can I get rid of the double set of tags on John's screen?
I am in TMG 4.
