Caroline,
Let me offer these suggestions. EDIT sentences in the Master Tag Type
List so that the sentences will be done globally. This will add to your
consistency. Doesn't matter where the census information comes from,
basically all sentences need the date, place and then any extra details
that you can get out of it (the memo).
As far as being able to see the sentence information in the PV, no you
can not, but you will be able to see the date, the place and the start
of the memo (which you can hover over to see the rest).
I haven't found a way to change font colors in sentence structures or
memos, but if you do, you will be my hero of the day. <G> I change them
in Word later. You can however set font type and size based on preset
criteria. (For instance, you can have it print using the Surname font.)

Subject: [TMG] SEEING SENTENCES

Hi List

Having now imported all my data I am now tidying up. I am trying to
sort out my census details in a way that keeps it fairly simple and
avoids duplication. I understand how the sentence structure works but
am still finding it difficult to be consistent. Can anyone help with
this? I am entering British census.

Also is there a way of showing the sentence detail in the Person Details
tag box?

I also like to put some colour in my reports when printing to make
things clearer. Can I change the colour of the headings and memos in
TMG or must this be done in Word afterwards?

regards

Caroline
