Hi, Paul:

Lots of systems have CD-R or CD-RW drives ("burners") as D:, including
mine. A more important question is whether I have been completely oblivious
to a key feature. Does TMG, any version, have the ability to back up
*directly* to a CD-Recordable (CD-R) drive? I know if the right drivers
(packet-writing software) are installed, you might be able to back up to a
CD-Rewritable (CD-RW) drive, although that might not always be the case either.

Obviously you are right about a CD-ROM drive ("CD reader"), which can only
read files from CDs, not put files on them.

So what's the scoop?
