Teresa has a good point here. However, the downside of only using the
'default Sentences' is that any narrative (when more than for individuals)
may be somewhat repetitive. Then you wind up with something like:
1. John Doe was born 12 Apr 1903 in Some City, State. He died on
29 Jun 1973 in Some City, State. He was buried in Church Cemetery, Some
City, State.
2. Robert Doe was born 15 Mar 1906 in Some City, State. He died
on 3 Feb 1978 in Some City, State. He was buried in Church Cemetery, Some
City, State.
While I agree that consistency in TMG is a good thing, it can be more
trouble than it is worth. True, there are only so many ways that these
Sentences can be statives.ated. But varying Sentences in subtle ways can
make a report much more interesting to a reader.
So, don't be afraid to change Tag Sentences in some small ways in local or
individual Tags. This will help reduce the repetitiveness of narratives.
