I don't think you will have any problem with that size of a data base...My
data base of about 50,000 which includes about 250 images takes up only 1/4
of a CD. Actually I have 4 different SS generated sites on the CD. 1) my
entire data base, 2) just the descendants of my mother and father (very
small site), 3) ancestors of father, 4) ancestors of my mother.
Obviously some duplication but gives the recipient several ways of looking
at the data, direct ancestors only of the entire data with all of the
collateral lines.....
