Subject: Re: [TMG] how to tell what sources go with which data

The List of Citations (not yet released) is best for this purpose, but for
now you can use the List of Events. In the LOE, the filter 'Any Citation...Src
Number' was reported broken - and fixed for the next release. In the
meantime, you might try filtering for something unique in the Abbreviation, Title, or
another subfield. If you can't come up with something unique, enter a
character like a # sign in the Abbreviation temporarily and filter for 'contains'
that symbol. Be aware that the List of Events will not show any name events, in
case you have sources attached to those. The forthcoming List of Citations
will show all events, including name events.

After chosing 'Abort' and canceling the report, all my menus were greyed out

I chose report = 'List of events'
Filtered Group
Field = 'Any Citation . . .'
Subfield = "Src Number'
Operator = ' = Equals'
Value = '6'
Connect = 'END'

The List of Events reports will do the trick. Use a filter beginning "Any
Citation..." The subfield you want will be one of the Src options --
probably Number or Abbreviation.
If you have used the source for very many people, it might be easiest to
print out the last and also to use the Secondary Output to set a flag which
you could then use to filter the Project Explorer and possibly to create a
Focus Group.
