In my experience, page numbers are grayed out because they are in the
header or footer portion of the document as opposed to the main text
portion, but they do print (for me anyway).

Would anyone know why, when using the journal report and sending to Word
2000, I always have the page numbers grayed out in Word. (I am checking
the right boxes in the options tab, to print the page numbers on all but
the first page in the lower center). What is happening is that the page
numbers appear on the Word screen grayed out and therefore but do not
print.
