There are, in general, two ways to "copy" data from one data set to
another. One is to select the person(s) as part of a Focus Group or just
highlight them in the Project Explorer and "copy" them to another data set
(select the Add=>Copt Person(s) option from the Main Menu). This requires
that you have both data sets (the old one and the new one) in the same
project.

The other way is to create a new (temporary) data set of just those persons
that you want to copy to the other data set. Normally this is done via the
Secondary Output options of the List of People report. Then you would
merge the temporary data into the other data set.

The result is the same in either case. The first method "bypasses" the
creation of the temporary data set and the data set merge required through
the "copy" function of the Add method.
