Hi, Don:
I have no problem generating dates in Second Site that meet
my needs, matching my TMG output depending on the options I
have selected. Can you give a specific example?

Computer programs do not store dates "exactly as you enter
them" EVER, unless you enter them as text. In TMG, dates
entered as text are known as "irregular dates". Such dates
do not permit date comparisons, calculations, or output
format selection such as "Aug or August", or year only, in
different contexts.

I think the whole issue of excluding information on the
living is a thorn in the side of today's genealogists,
but that is a different story. Second Site provides for
charts (pedigree and descendant) that "continue excluded
lines". This is as close to what you are asking as we
can get at the moment, using Second Site.
