Thanks for speaking with Geoff and amplifying his comments, all of which
I heartily endorse.
All,
I also support Walt's improvement on the Research Log suggestion
below--I often find it frustrating to be working in one of the tools
(MSL, Research Log, etc.) and have to close everything out just b/c I
want to check something in my data. I would be **very** happy if I
could keep the items open while I took a peek at my data. (If there are
potential conflicts b/w allowing a user to modify data while one of
those items is open, then perhaps any data entry could be disallowed,
with any attempt to do so producing a message to the effect of "If you
wish to modify your data, you must close the xxx first".) Yes, I know I
could open up a second instance of TMG and look at my data there, but
that just seems so clunky.
