I have taken a look at Win4Lin and I guess for me it does not fill the
bill....which was to completely get rid of bill (Gates).
You still have to run Windows along with it.
I am not really unhappy the way TMG runs under XP. Windows 98 was a
different story. I just want to get out from under Microsoft. But not if I
can't run TMG.

Dick Eastman wrote about running TMG using Win4Lin to allow Windows to run
as an application on Linux. This is the same setup that Darrell is using.
I agree with you that a port of TMG to Linux would be ideal, I also agree
with Bob about the available market. So I think we are stuck with using
something like Win4Lin if we wish to migrate our genealogy to Linux and
continue using TMG.
