Alan, Jim, Phil, and Tim,

Thank you all. Yes, it is clear as mud. But luckily, not many of my
ancestors came from the British Isles, in fact 90% of them came from
Württemberg or some other location in present day Germany.

This is a great start for me to improving my location hunting (recording) in
that part of Europe.
