Go to this web site and you should find everything you want about British
Isles Counties and much more.
http://www.genuki.org.uk/

This is the GENUKI site and once there, click where it says "Enter this
large collection...... On the next screen you can click on Administrative
Regions and then you can select different Administrative Regions of the
British Isles, which include maps.

Back at the screen where you selected Administrative Regions, you can click
on maps of England, Scotland and Wales, and of Ireland. These show the
Counties and civil admin districts. Clicking on a county in the map shows a
screen with historical information about that county.

There are many more pages in this site so enjoy exploring.

Incidently, if you search for GENUKI with your search engine, you will find
addition sites devoted specifically to one county and other sites of
Genealogical interest.
