It is not a bug. You need to be careful how you enter new individuals,
i.e., enter from the screen of someone who has a relationship. It will
calculate from that relationship. Alternatively, after entering a bunch of
new individuals toggle the relationship calculator off and back on. TMG
does no calculate relationships on the fly as it would slow the program
down considerably. You can put a button on the Custom Tool Bar to toggle
the relationship calculator off and on.
