I've not been plagued by Grey outs at all, but today I got one.

The only thing that I had changed, was to switch from the simple picklist to
the expanded one in order to see spice (yes Ron, I'm still using it instead
of spouses, ugly word) and accented colours for someone I was trying to
spot.

I have a rather large database, and using the expanded picklist did slow
things down considerably, but also seems to have contributed to my first
grey out.
