Jack,
Was this a repost?
But for what it's worth, I too would much rather use a mouse.
The Ctrl F6 issue has apparently been reported already.
You can always get back to the Person detail view with a Ctrl+P.
Personally I've not used the find feature of v4 you mention, but with the
siblings and childrens windows open I tend to use Ctrl + I and enter the
number.
I find it more reliable (and quicker) than clicking, double clicking or
triple clicking to over come the tool tips.

Subject: [TMG] ctrl f6 problems in tmg 5.11
I am slowly wading through the manual trying different features and playing
with a dataset. I am still using 4.0d for my work but am getting close to
switching over. I have a question and some comments:
Ctrl F6 does not seem to work correctly - if there are four windows open
(details, siblings, children and flag) it will work for a very short while
and then settle down to toggling between two windows - usually detail and
children - I am a big keyboard user and do not like the mouse when entering
data - I would like to be able to toggle to these windows when necessary.
While I am on the subject I think the Ctrl Enter command is a great feature
but why not extend it to the children and sibling windows? Also, a feature
from TMG 4 which is missing is the key sequence that allowed you to go the
Edit menu (Alt E), the Find option (F) , and then select a series of buttons
that would take you to a spouse (O), brother (B), sister (T), etc. For
people that do not like to use the mouse this was a great feature. I have
not found it's equivalent in TMG 5. Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks for any help
