On or about 09:51 03/04/04 a carrier pigeon from Gregory Winters delivered:

Directly from the manual (do you have the manual?):
SHOWING DATA - REPORTS
Memos
Memos that are not included in an event sentence may be printed as
footnotes or endnotes, embedded, or embedded in parentheses.
Note the two conditions: 1) the event sentence must NOT reference
the memo field and, 2) you have to pick ONE of the four options for the
ENTIRE report.

How different programs handle the contents of the memo field is
indeterminate. More so when you consider that TMG allows for split memos
(using || to separate parts, and then using [Mx] in the event sentence,
where x is the part of the memo to be used). When I imported my UFT data,
TMG actually created some memos that used [M3] but not [M2], etc....
I'd suggest looking at the, maybe slightly dated (though it /does/
list TMG5 as of Nov 2002), "report card" http://www.mumford.ca/reportcard/
Hmmm, still gave TMG 96pts/80%, FTM10 got 67/56. Unfortunately, the new
version of the site doesn't give a detailed explanation of how they
performed the "portability" test.

Well, if you use TMG's HTML report output it would seem a given
that, if it isn't a problem in a printed report, it isn't a problem in a
web page report. <G> I suspect SecondSite also honors that much.
