Hi Pat,

You have to insert the code to create the index or TOC, all TMG has done is
code up the entries - or at least that's my understanding

Hi all,
I've been trying to print my first journal report with a Table of Contents
and Index. After a day of trying, I am still unable to get either to show
up in the document, or the printout. I have checked the appropriate Index
and TOC report options and saved as both Word and Wordperfect documents just
in case. According to MS Word help files, after toggling codes to visible,
I should see a code for the index: {index} which I then toggle from code to
text. The problem is that I don't find any such code anywhere in my
document (even with the find function.) Does anyone know what I'm missing?
