Hi Lorna,
Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately, when I try to insert the index I get the message "Error - no index entries found" so that doesn't seem to be the problem. I have made a variety of Index options selections (place only, name only, combined) and nothing seems to make a difference. Something I failed to mention on the first post: I am exporting to Word 2000/Wordperfect 11, and run on Windows XP. This one has got me stumped.
