On or about 09:20 05/01/04 a carrier pigeon from Roger's Hobbies delivered:

I'm presuming the existing Ahnentafel report, with only BMDB tags
selected, is not suitable for your uses?

Since Ahnentafel numbers are calculated relative to the focus
individual, you don't want to hard-code them into the data; if you ever
wanted to produce such a report with a different starting person you would
have to recreate/edit the numbers each time you changed focus.

If the need is for something sortable in Excel, say, you may need
to generate the Ahnentafel report to file, and write a VBA script to parse
the fixed (assuming you haven't customized them) sentence outputs... If
places are introduced with "at", you would be looking for keywords: "born"
(for birth record), "at" xxxx, xxx (for place), "on" date... "married
<name> "at" ...... etc.
