Hi again, Andy <G>
we 'clashed' on this one some time ago in a 'friendly discussion' and I just
couldn't let it go unanswered now ... <G>

About your statement above ... agreed that step-children are not blood
related and it would be a social relationship chart ... but again where does
that leave half-siblings? My brother certainly is blood-related to me (or
isn't he?) and so are his children but they still won't show as my
sibling/nephew/niece on my father's descendancy chart ... or does the
percentage of the 'blood mix' have anything to do with it? ... more than 50%
maybe ... ? (how would that work?) <VBG>

I can well guess your response already <G> ... just in the mood for a bit of
'stirring' ... Sorry ... <VBG>

Actually, they WILL show on a decendancy chart.. if it is made with Geneweb
<G>. That is one reason I keep it on my computer; the other being that it is
MUCH quicker in doing relationship charts.

As great as TMG is- and I consider it THE best- it still has some areas that
other programs do better. Quite frankly, ANY charting program that can't show
bloodline descendants of multiple marriages is, imho, worthless.

see http://geneweb.inria.fr/roglo?lang=en&m=D&i=46385&v=4&t=T&bd=0&color=
for an example.
