Here's an odd little problem.
I made myself a custom button for adding a census tag--just like
the example in the help file. It works fine except in one
circumstance. If I forget to put in a citation (hey, nobody's perfect),
I get the usual warning with the "continue anyway?" prompt. I
choose "No" so I can add the citation.
Instead of leaving me in the Census tag entry screen, the Tag Type
list comes up. I don't want this so I hit Close. This brings me back
to the tag entry screen. This would be fine, except that the tag is
no longer a Census Tag but an Address Tag. (Address is the top
tag in the Tag Type list). This usurper tag has all the information I
entered in the Census tag so it rather takes you by surprise when
you discover it's the wrong one because it doesn't have the witness
roles you need.
This problem doesn't happen when I add the census tag with F4.
Have I made a mistake of some kind when setting up the Census
button? Or is TMG just being playful?
