Thanks for the info, Jim
I have found the files which look like my old ones but for some
reason TMG is not reading them into its screen presentation. Thus I
have several screen layout files in the program directory but none of
these is available either at the layout window at the top of the screen
or in layout manager. Similarly, the custom toolbar file is there but
it is not affecting the screen. I have tried reindexing but this has had
no effect and I cannot see how one can 'import' these files directly.
One thought I have is that when I was reinstalling TMG5.13 there was a
trivially irritating issue when I was not given the opportunity to
define the name of the subdirectory I wanted TMG to go into - I was
forced into 'The Master Genealogist'. However previously I had created
TMG 5.13 in a 'TMGW5' subdirectory which was achieved as it was built up
from several upgrades. This time, because I have embarrassingly put my
version 5.13 disk somewhere safe, I started from the 5.11 disk and built
5.13 up from there. Could the change in program directory name be
affecting the uptake of these two file types?
