Greetings:
I had my backups set to generate the archive name automatically, using a backup number looping through 99 backups. I tried changing to date & time, and it worked fine but I just didn't like it. Now I find to my chagrin that there seems to be no way to convince TMG *not* to start over at backup number 1. I am now stuck with the date and time backup names just to avoid overwriting, which is important to me.
No, this is not risking data loss. I could rattle off about six different ways to deal with it effectively, including a couple from the DOS command line, but that begs the question. It's just an irritant, regardless of how minor.
Am I missing something?
