Hi Richard, I'm assuming that you are using version 5...
Once you've filtered your Project Explorer (PE), open an empty focus group
and move everyone to that.
Then unfilter the PE, and unlink it even, and work thru the focus group
(double click on a name to switch to them), deleting the name from the group
as you go.
Wonderful indicator of progress, and much faster than having refiltering in
the PE each edit.

I used a LOE report with secondary output to set a temp flag for a fairly
large group of people I need to "clean up".
I am curently using the project explorer with a filter set to give me the
people with the temp flag set.
But this is going real slowly. For each person, I need to examine and in
most cases, delete two extraneous tags. Each time I delete a tag, the filter
summary window comes up and I need to click OK (waiting would be worse)
This process is wearing out my mouse and my hand.
Any suggestions on how to speed up the job?
Richard
