Tanya,
You do it the same way as in version 4, but the screens are arranged a
bit differently.
You do use the List of People report. In the upper half of the Report
Definition screen, under "Subject(s)" choose Filtered Group. Then,
below the space where the name of the Filter will appear, click Add
and create a filter. Since you will likely want to use this filter
again, give it a helpful name in the "Save Filter as" field - like
maybe "Fitch Descendants." Then, create the filter terms:
Fitch_dec = Y END
(assuming it's the "Y" value you use, if not adjust accordingly) Make
sure nothing is saved in the Add their... fields below. Click OK to
close and save the filter. (Next time you can select the filter from
the drop-down list instead of creating it.)
Next, click the Options button, and go to the "Secondary Output" tab.
On it, select either "Create New Project" or "Create New Dataset"
depending on which you want to create, and enter a name. If you are
not sure which you want, my article on Projects and Datasets, at
http://tmg.reigelridge.com/projects-datasets.htm may help, or you can
ask here for clarification.
Click OK to close the Options screen, than click "Print & Save" to run
the report. After reviewing the names on the list, close the report
and allow TMG to create the new Project or Dataset when it asks.
