Yes Jill, I have, but to no avail. (asked for spouse dates to be visible
somehow in person view)
I'd settle for tooltips showing the dates in a mouseover, and would even
deem that a useful use of my mouse (being a keyboard person)
This could be applied to the spice for the children and siblings in their
panels too.
There are of course at least two workarounds:
one is to have the project explorer open and expanded for the person being
viewed, so that at least the years will show there, but it isn't enuf
really.
The other is to switch to Family view to check them
But given that all the other dates, ie of parents, children are all visible,
it is a right pain having to do something different for the spice.
I did suggest at one stage that the top Name/Father/Mother panel could be
extended to include last Viewed Spouse, where the dates could be shown
there, but I don't think anyone noticed.

Subject: [TMG] Any one ever wish for this? and source descriptors
Good morning,
On my list of "wish for items" is when I am in Person View (PV) that I could
see the birth and death date of the spouse.
I can see them for the person in question and for the sibling's and
children's but not the dates of the spouse(s) of the person in the PV. And
I echo the desire (optional, of course) when the name has been changed to
include it on the first line of any tag.
