I realize this is very off subject, but this is the most techologically savy list I know.
Several weeks ago I used TexShare, the program allowing patrons of participating Texas libraries to access Heritage Quest and other databases. I have a problem in that to access it, I must turn off my Norton Firewall. Well, I forgot to turn it back on before I browsed to a site other than TexShare. I now have a problem I don't know how to remedy.
Every few minutes when I use Internet Explorer, a window opens that is 680180.net. Can anyone tell me what to do to end this nuisance? I have run Norton Antivirus as well as having run Spybot and Adware6. Any suggestion would help.
It seems as if my Norton's programs were affected. I finally had to reinstall them.
Thanks for any suggestions.
