Glad I am not alone on this. I too, use a LOT of "other" which doesn't seem
to helpful.

Thanks, Lorna and Margaret.

I second this request to see birth and death dates for the spouse. I am
constantly in one spouse's PV and want to check the other spouse's date. It
seems inconsistent to not see it when you can see children and siblings.

I do use the supplemental tab fields for the source information. I find it
helps me assess the value of the source. If a source is indexed then I can
determine more easily the effort to use it for another person or tag. The
one I struggle with is Medium. I seem to use a lot of 'other'. I wish it
included electronic as a choice; I am never sure what visual is supposed to
be (photographs?).

On my list of "wish for items" is when I am in Person View (PV) that I could
see the birth and death date of the spouse.

Also, as long as I have been on this list no one, that I know of, has ever
asked a question about source descriptors on the Source Definition Screen.

You know the ones.pull up any source, go to the Supplemental tab and on the
right side it lists Recorder, Medium, Fidelity and Indexed. Does anyone use
these? What are they good for? Just a reminder of what you looked at?
Under "Medium" what choice would you use for a funeral card, diploma or a
web page?
