Hi, Mark:

Yes, but be *VERY* careful. If you put the cursor in the first place field in the Tag screen, press F2, and choose from the place list; and then, after the place fields are filled in on the Tag screen, you edit them, you may (I think *will*) change all Tags that had the same original field values to agree with your edited values even if you have no intention whatever of doing that.

My solution is to use F2 **ONLY** to select a place that I am quite certain I am going to leave **exactly** as it was. Otherwise, I enter the data in each field from scratch. (If I thought I could select from the list, but there is even the most minor of discrepancies, I cancel the selection and return to the Tag.)

TMG uses a most unusual way of storing place information, and that is the cause of this behavior. The Master Place List is not, in the "raw data", what it appears to be on screen. I understand how it works, but fervently hope that an overhaul is nearing completion!
