"When I send a journal narrative report to a WordPerfect file,
the left margin for the footnotes are automatically set to .05
inches (one-half inch). I can figure out how to change the
footnotes margins, individually, but cannot determine how to
change the left margin to 1.00 inch for ALL footnotes in the
entire journal document.
Can someone tell me how to change the left margin on ALL
footnotes in the entire WP document with just one change?

I am using WordPerfect 11 and using it you would:
Select Insert>Header/Footer>Footer A>Edit
and then set your margin Format>Margn>Left
to whatever you want.
