Donald,
Here is what I have done and it works quite fine for me (there might be a
better way, but I am satisfied with this way):
Go to Find & Replace, select Match, Codes.
Select in the Code menu: Suprscpt On
Select in the Code menu: Footnote Num Disp
Select in the Code menu: Suprscpt Off
This should now refelct the three codes in the Find window.
Then highlight this Find line and copy it before next moving to the Replace
window.
In the Replace With window I use the space bar and tap it about 10 times
(you can select your own amount for the desired spacing limit)
I then paste what I had copied above after the spacing I selected.
Then select Replace All and watch with wonder as WordPerfect re-adjusts all
your Footnote margins in every page.
I found there might be some residual adjustments to do, but still it was the
best I could do.
