John, I don't know if you have received an answer to this yet that solved
your problem.

The margins of the footnotes in WP are tied to the margins of the document
at the time it was created. You can change the margins at the very
beginning of a document, but that will not change the margins for the
footnotes.

What you need to do is open/show reveal codes, and go to the very beginning
of the document. There should be something like "Open Style: Document
Style" Click on that to open it and you will get a box that shows you all
of the initial settings for the document. Go up to Format>Margins and change
the margin to what you want for your footnotes. When you exit out of that,
you can set the margins at the beginning to what they were, but the
footnotes will keep the new ones. This has been the same with WP back at
least to 5.1.

Hope this solves your problem.

Connie

Subject: [TMG] Journal Narrative report to WordPerfect file

When I send a journal narrative report to a WordPerfect file, the left
margin for the footnotes are automatically set to .05 inches (one-half
inch). I
can figure out how to change the footnotes margins, individually, but
cannot
determine how to change the left margin to 1.00 inch for ALL footnotes in
the
entire journal document.

Can someone tell me how to change the left margin on ALL footnotes in the
entire WP document with just one change?

Thanks,
