Hi, Teresa:

In your first example, to me the added picklist entry is not an improvement over just showing the birth year. Perhaps that is because I do not enter anyone into my data unless there is a connection with someone else, and that always allows me to create an estimated birth year. Additional name variations in the picklist would, for me, be clutter at best and confusing at worst. Instead of 14 Sarah Unknowns I would have maybe 20, and that is not an improvement.

I don't understand your second example. Say I have a 1920 census entry that includes John Jones, age 59. If I have the PV of John Jones, age 62 in 1920, showing on screen then either his Tag list has a 1920 census Tag for him, or it doesn't. How does a census name Tag help? It doesn't add any information.... What am I missing?
