On my old model T computer running Win98, a simple <PRNT SCRN> does just
that...it prints the screen. A <CTRL> + <PRNT SCRN> does nothing at
all. <ALT> + <PRNT SCRN> prints the active window only.
The fastest way that I know to check to see if you have captured it
exactly as you want it is to use MS Clipboard Viewer. It appears in the
viewer instantly upon copying (printing).
