No it's still there, but much more carefully hidden than before.

Go to Reports>Ahnentafel>options>Miscellaneous. Under other, the
larger box at upper right, down near the end the words "Output in Columns"
are hiding shyly behind a little square box. Click on the little box and
you're in business.

Like you, I couldn't believe that TMG would abandon this valuable
report, and it took me quite a while to find it, the first time I needed it.

Happy columnar Ahnentafel reporting!
