If you can define the group persons that need the Source Citation in a
filter, you might consider creating a new (temporary) data set of just
those persons. Then you could cite the Source Globally, and merge the
temporary data set back into the current data set.
You will want to delete those persons from the old (current) data set
before adding the temporary data set back in. You may want to leave
certain connecting persons or at least their basic data (name and
relationship Tags) so that merging would consist of only merging those persons.
This process is not hard although there are a number of steps that must be
taken in the right sequence. Be sure to have a good backup before trying
this. If the number of persons needing the Source Citation is large, this
may be helpful.
