I have two mostly identical data sets. One is my main set and the second is
used for SecondSite. This allows me to do loads of editing for my website
without messing up my main data set. New data can be added to both very easily
using mostly F3. The citation in the second set will have the wrong data set
prefix, but this is also fast. Opening the master source list will generally
take you to within a source or two of the correct source. Now it takes me
very little time to move data for a person from one set to the other. Very easy
and fast.
(No, you don't need a special set for SS. It just works better for me as I'm
doing lots of editing and using the narrative form of SS.)
