Hi, Juergen,
I'm finally finding the time to answer you. I don't know why I wrote that
TMG found a husband/wife relationship. Obviously, TMG doesn't do that. The
problem I'm experiencing, if it is a TMG problem, might be because of the
interfamily marriages in this particular line that are not being calculated
through the relationship algorithm.

Here is a brief recap. Bernhard Arnesen married Agnes Lambertsen. Their
son, Lawrence Arnesen, had Steve and Steve had Christopher. Bernhard and Agnes
are 1C. Agnes' mother, Anne, is Bernhard's mother-in-law and aunt. Anne's
parents are Bernhard's grandparents. (Confused, yet...grin)

TMG finds that Christopher is Steve's son and 10C1R, but does not find that
Christopher is Steve's 3C1R. (The 10C1R is through Christopher's mother, my
sister, and is not relevant to this discussion.) Also, TMG finds that
Christopher is Lawrence's grandson, but does not find that they are 2C2R. The
latter comes from Bernhard and Agnes.

However, TMG does find that Christopher is Bernhard's great-grandson and
1C3R. Similarly, TMG finds that Christopher is the great-grandson and 1C3R of
Agnes, Bernhard's wife and 1C. TMG also finds that Christopher is
g-g-grandson and g-g-grandnephew to Berent Almass, father of Bernhard.

I have examined my data entry and can find no apparent mistakes, so, I
wonder if it is the multiple, interfamily relationships that is causing a problem
in the relationship calculator. Could the calculator be having a problem
with subsequent generations if two people are biological cousins as well as
spouses? I don't have the expertise to solve this, but if you else any ideas I'd
like to hear them.
