Add the parents as witnesses in the children's birth tags. Then for
the parents' Individual Narratives, you can modify the sentence to say
whatever you want for each child. This is an old issue which has been
discussed for years, but at least this approach works admirably for me.
The only time it gets ticklish is when the children are twins, triplets,
etc., but even then, you can make it work satisfactorily. I have one
subject with twenty children, and every one of their births appears in
his IN. I do the same with the marriages and deaths of children during
the subjects lifetime. I use the witness feature to include all events
significant to my subject, such as the deaths of his/her parents, among
many, many other things.
