For some more detail, I looked back in my own archives for Tim Doyle's
announcement about the move to Rootsweb. It had this date header

Date: Wed, 7 Jun 2000 14:12:07 -0500

and said in part:

"The TMG-L (and TMG-L-DIGEST) mailing lists are moving to a new home!
These lists have been located at doit.com since November, 1995 when they
were moved from their original home on Netcom.com."
